Co-creating new growth for a software company

A software company with market dominance in the health sector appointed thinkplayact to help them develop a new growth strategy. We undertook customer experience research, looked across market boundaries (blue ocean strategy) and held co-design workshops with the executive team to explore innovative approaches to growth. Our work revealed an surprising opportunity for growth within the supply chain of their existing industry that would not only create new market growth, it would unlock exceptional value for existing customers. This insight also opened the way for market entry with a unique offering into new sectors and industries with similar value chain structures.

Creating a New Member Model

An international research body (for carbon capture & storage) faced member retention issues in a changing government policy environment. They sought to retain members and create a sustainable model. Over 3 days we worked alongside the organisation's management, their customers (Rio Tinto, Chevron etc) and stakeholders (CSIRO etc) to co-design a new member model and develop new growth initiatives and a proposed new revenue model.
